All dressed up but you can't take the country out of the girl.

De and Corrine's New Rehab

De and Corrine got a new house to rehab. It is 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.

Just kidding. That is one of our old duck blinds. Heee-Heee!

This is theirs.

The bath needs the tub surround and tile updated. The kitchen and hall have

heavy

stucco on the walls. The only way to fix it was to remove the walls and start over. De removed all the doors and frames. Even the bathroom. You are on your honor not to peek at the person using it. I never have any privacy here at home so why should I expect anything different there. De also tore out the tub surround so it is ready for him to put in the new one. We did the tear out of the wall in the kitchen and hall. De did the big stuff and I got the difficult job of removing it with a pry bar and hammer at the ceiling. Today we started the new walls. De cut the drywall and held it in place while I screwed them in place. It is always amazing how much better they look when we get done.

Texas Trip

De and Dachser were great company on the drive down to Texas. Thank goodness for books on CD. LOL! Dachser and Letti are the best watch dogs. We all worked hard but had fun doing it. Quality family time. Love to all, Mickey
